It'll be interesting to see which companies take advantage of the opportunity to promote its new product, given their ability to grow and expand at a fast pace, and make it marketable. But, as I alluded earlier, I don't want to predict how things play out.
Even though the first-generation of the VW Golf-JT, the future VW Golf, could be the first VW Golf to appeal to the global market for electric cars, with its heavy-duty wheels, I would not recommend it as a direct, sustainable, reliable, and economical option.
A high-performance Golf-JT can make a very limited impact on the climate to a large degree, as is true with the Golf Pro and Golf Plus, but the latter has lower emissions because it is driven by electric motors. It should be noted that those motors can easily run down emissions.
I'd recommend Volkswagen Golf-JT for driving in the summer and winter days when emissions are low, rather than in winter days due to limited or no power on-board. Otherwise, the only thing going into VW Golf-JT are its diesel-powered powertrain and its very low power consumption.
All the data I've collected so far supports my opinion that Volkswagen does not need to be the only brand to appeal to a global-based market.
