The beaches of Kuwait, a small land of 1,500 sq km in the Middle East (or as much as a thousand and ten kilometers farther away from the rest of the world), are an essential experience to go to any destination on the sea.
The beaches, however, are almost all waterfalls or cliffs in the Gulf of Oman, a very popular destination for the poor and ill, with all their many problems. These islands are where all those rich, good people live or die. It is quite common to see the main tourist attractions of the Gulf of Oman, including the famous Chabahar World Heritage site in Kuwait, but it was once a paradise. For a time I was a little worried about getting off my way when the locals told me that the town seemed a bit off in the distance from them.
