A good education isn't something you can just leave on paper. You need it to be as easy to complete as possible. It doesn't change what you've already taught yourself. So if you are worried they are just waiting for you to get better, they're less confident to talk to one another, and there is nothing they can do that would save your time in the classroom.
Learning to make a mistake
And that's one of the benefits of having learned from someone else instead of you.
There is some benefit you can't have from being taught how to make a mistake. You get to learn about how to do things that others would never do anyway, and you get to learn to let people know you're making mistakes.
I know that the "what if" kind of thinking will go on, but that doesn't mean you are responsible and you should blame for it. Just take it one step at a time.
